It's not often we get to share the producer's story through their own words, so here's a bit more about the coffee and farm from Isabela herself:
I am a granddaughter and daughter of a producer. I have lived and worked all my life on the farm and with that I learned to love it all. The farm is my story, because it is the fruit of my dreams and my achievements. I worked for 37 years on the farm and am always looking for teamwork and various innovations. All we have achieved so far has been with the help of my father, mother, and brother who help us in the management of the farm.
The mission remains the same - the production of high-quality coffee - but with new times some adjustments have been made: technology, which was scarce in the past, commands history today. The coffees planted in the mountains, on steep terrains, all handpicked, have given way to the flat highlands where the machine plays its role. [Our farm] Bela Vista, however, wants to develop further. The goal is to take coffee to the world.
